Royal Solomon Islands Police Force and RAMSI participate in opening of 16 Days of Activism

The Royal Solomon Islands Police Force (RSIPF) and RAMSI joined in the opening activities for the 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence campaign on 25 November 2015. The 16 Days is a global campaign dedicated to ending gender-based violence.  It commences each year on the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women for 16 days, until Human Rights Day.

The Commissioner of the RSIPF, Frank Prendergast, delivered the opening remarks which outlined the RSIPF’s efforts in combatting gender-based violence in Solomon Islands.
