Launching of new law books

The Public Solicitors Office in the Ministry of Justice and Legal Affairs launched three new law books, the first law books to be published in Solomon Islands since independence in 1978, during a ceremony in Honiara on 25 March 2013.

The new law books, published with funding from the RAMSI Law and Justice Program includes,” Public Solicitor’s Office Duty Lawyers Manual” by Edward Cade and Steve Barlowe,” Mining Law and Agreements in Solomon Islands” by Joe Fardin and “Evidence, Law and Procedures in Solomon Islands” by Robert Cavanagh.
